AERO

  • Front Splitter: 4 (of 6 clicks)
  • Rear Wing: 6 (of 8 clicks, high downforce for wet grip and confidence)
  • Brake Ducts: Front 2 / Rear 2 (moderate cooling, wet temps lower)

KEY SETUP NOTE

  • Croatia's wet tarmac-like gravel surface (smooth, low-grip, polished lines) demands a slightly softer rear ARB and higher rear ride height than dry setup — this keeps the rear planted under aggressive trail-braking and prevents snap oversteer on the many fast, blind crests while still allowing the front end to rotate hard into tight hairpins.

TRACK GUIDE

  • Braking zones are shorter than they look in the wet — brake 8-10m earlier than dry reference points, especially into the Hairpin at Passage of Dragon (SS) where standing water pools on the inside line.
  • Favor the outside, less-polished racing line on fast sweepers — the "normal" dry line is often the slickest due to rubber/oil buildup, especially dangerous in wet conditions.
  • Use aggressive but progressive trail-braking into medium-speed corners to rotate the Puma early, then get on throttle progressively — the hybrid boost should be deployed just after apex for max traction exit.
  • Croatia has many blind crests and compressions — lift slightly before blind crests in the wet to avoid unweighting the car mid-corner, which causes snap oversteer on landing.
  • Time is won on traction out of hairpins and tight midspeed corners — prioritize a clean, stable exit over outright entry speed; the long straights punish any wheelspin heavily.
