KEY SETUP NOTE

• Virginia's long high-speed Oak Tree Turn and uphill esses demand strong mechanical rear grip under load transfer — slightly softer rear ARB combined with a touch more power diff lock prevents snap oversteer on exit of Turn 1 and Turn 10 without sacrificing the straight-line speed needed down the back straight for overtaking.

TRACK GUIDE

• Turn 1 (Oak Tree): Committed late braking into a long, decreasing-radius right-hander — trail brake deep but respect rear tyre temps as this corner punishes aggressive rotation over a stint
• Turns 3-5 (esses): Minimum steering input, maximize momentum — this is a time-gain section through smoothness, not outright aggression
• Turn 10 (hairpin before back straight): Critical traction zone — get the car rotated early and prioritize throttle application over apex speed since it feeds the longest straight
• Back straight into Turn 12: Primary overtaking zone — late, trail-braking entry rewards aggressive drivers but watch for locking fronts with cold tyres after the straight
• Tyre management: Front-left and rear-left see the most load through the fast right-handers — stagger pressure build awareness lap-to-lap and avoid curb abuse at Turn 1 exit to control long-run degradation
