// Hot Lap · Dry

TYRES

  • Semislick, front 27.5 PSI cold (target ~31 PSI hot), rear 27.0 PSI cold (target ~30.5 PSI hot). No blankets assumed — first lap must be driven to build temp progressively into the flying lap; if blankets available, set to 80°C front/rear.

ELECTRONICS

  • TC: 2 (minimal, allows rotation but catches snap on Eau Rouge compression)
  • ABS: 3
  • Engine Brake / Brake Magic (EBC): 3 (medium, stable trail-braking into La Source and Les Combes)
  • Brake Bias: 53.5% front

SUSPENSION

  • // FRONT
  • Ride Height: 65 mm
  • Wheel Rate FL / FR: 155000 / 155000 N/m
  • ARB: 18000 N/m
  • Brake Torque Multiplier: 100%
  • Brake Bias: 53.5%
  • // REAR
  • Ride Height: 68 mm
  • Wheel Rate RL / RR: 140000 / 140000 N/m
  • ARB: 14000 N/m

AERO

  • Front splitter: 2 (of typical 0–5 scale)
  • Rear wing: 4 (of typical 0–8 scale) — biased toward stability for Eau Rouge/Blanchimont over outright Kemmel top speed
  • Brake ducts: front 2, rear 2 (single hot lap, minimal cooling needed but keep discs in operating window after La Source)

KEY SETUP NOTE

  • The LaFerrari's hybrid torque delivery makes Raidillon's compression the single biggest threat to lap time — too soft a rear and too little rear wing will snap the car loose exactly where you need to carry maximum speed onto Kemmel; the setup above sacrifices a fraction of straight-line speed for a rear end that stays planted through the compression, which pays back far more in confidence for late braking into Les Combes.

TRACK GUIDE

  • La Source: brake as late as physically possible from ~330 km/h, trail-brake deep to rotate the nose — the hybrid torque-fill on exit rewards early, aggressive throttle even mid-corner.
  • Eau Rouge/Raidillon: full throttle if committed — the setup is tuned so the rear doesn't unload on the compression; any hint of lift here costs 3-4 tenths down Kemmel.
  • Les Combes: hardest braking zone on track after Kemmel's top speed — brake in a straight line, get it turned early for the second apex, traction out is critical for the run to Rivage.
  • Pouhon: this is where the aero balance is felt most — commit early, trust the front end, a stable platform lets you carry noticeably more minimum speed through both apexes.
  • Blanchimont: flat or near-flat with this setup — this and Eau Rouge are where the lap is won; any setup compromise favoring one over the other should favor these two corners.

THEORETICAL BEST LAP

  • 2:16.500 — theoretical optimal based on hypercar-class pace at Spa in dry conditions, clean lap, no traffic.

TYRES

  • Semislick (LaFerrari's road-hybrid tyre is fixed compound — Semislick spec), Front 29.0 PSI cold (target ~32 PSI hot), Rear 28.5 PSI cold (target ~31.5 PSI hot). No tyre blankets assumed — expect 1 warm-up lap; run slightly higher cold pressure on out-lap mentally, don't chase temp with wheel input until tyres are in window.

ELECTRONICS

  • TC: 3 (out of car's 0–7 scale — needed for Kemmel/Blanchimont power delivery and hybrid torque hit)
  • ABS: 4
  • Engine Braking / brake magic: Medium (car's 3-step engine braking map — set to 2 of 3, avoids rear instability under trail braking into La Source and Les Combes)
  • Brake Bias: 58% front (adjustable in-cockpit, ±2% range for track adaptation — bring rearward slightly for La Source, forward for Bus Stop)

SUSPENSION

  • // FRONT
  • Ride Height: 62 mm
  • Wheel Rate FL / FR: 145000 / 145000 N/m

  • Brake Bias: 58%
  • // REAR

  • Diff Power: 0.5

AERO

  • Front splitter: 2 (of 3 clicks) — enough front bite for Les Combes/Rivage without stalling on Kemmel
  • Rear wing: 4 (of 8 clicks) — Spa is a low-drag priority track but LaFerrari's hybrid weight needs rear plant for Eau Rouge/Blanchimont; don't go below 3
  • Brake ducts: Front 2 / Rear 2 (of 5) — moderate, race-distance cooling without overheating discs on long stint

KEY SETUP NOTE

  • The LaFerrari's hybrid torque-fill (KERS) hits hardest at low-to-mid RPM out of slow corners — La Source, Rivage, and Bus Stop exits will snap the rear loose if diff power lock and TC are too aggressive; the 0.5 power lock + TC 3 combo lets you use the electric torque for traction without a sudden step, which matters more here than outright mechanical grip tuning.

TRACK GUIDE

  • La Source: brake very late but in a straight line — trail off brake progressively, the hybrid torque means you can get back to throttle earlier than a normal V8/V12 Ferrari, use it to carry speed onto Kemmel.
  • Eau Rouge/Raidillon: flat in this setup if committed on line — stay right, clip the left kerb lightly at bottom, unweight through compression will unsettle rear if you lift; commit full throttle before the compression, not during.
  • Les Combes: this is where aggressive late braking pays — brake in a straight line from ~150m, rotate hard on entry using the front splitter grip, get the car pointed early for
