KEY SETUP NOTE

• Kyalami's high-speed, high-energy corners (Jukskei, Crocodile Kink) are aero and rear-stability dependent, but the track also has two hard traction zones (Sunset hairpin, final hairpin onto pit straight) that punish excessive rear wing/diff lockup — this setup biases toward a slightly tighter diff coast and softer rear ARB than a qualifying setup to preserve rear tyre life and traction exit speed across a full race stint without sacrificing Jukskei commitment.

TRACK GUIDE

• Sausage Kink (T1): brake hard in a straight line before the kink, trail slightly to rotate — don't carry trail braking too deep or the rear will snap on the kerb strike.
• Clubhouse (T4): classic trail-brake corner — late apex, get back to power progressively; this is where TC4 earns its keep on worn tyres late in the stint.
• Jukskei Sweep (T7): flat or near-flat in this car with race fuel — commit early, trust the aero; lifting mid-corner destabilizes the rear more than carrying a touch of understeer.
• Sunset/Rietvlei hairpin (T11): the most important traction zone on the lap feeding the back straight — sacrifice entry speed for a clean, early throttle application exit.
• Barbecue/Cheetah complex (T14): braking stability over elevation change is critical — brake earlier than feels natural on the downslope entry, as compression loads the fronts and can trigger lockup.
• Final hairpin onto pit straight: the lap's biggest traction payoff — rotate the car early, get the wheel straight before full throttle to protect the rear tyres for the long run to Sausage Kink.
