AERO

  • Front splitter: minimum legal clearance (static ~ 89 mm LF)
  • Rear spoiler: 70° angle
  • Downforce: fixed package per iRacing Xfinity spec — no adjustable wing elements
  • Brake ducts: fully open (max cooling) — track temp dependent, reduce 1 click if brake temps stay under 450°C

KEY SETUP NOTE

  • Phoenix's asymmetric, variable-banking corners punish a car that's too tight entering Turn 3–4 (the dogleg); cross-weight (via LF/RF ride height split and rear spring split) must be tuned to rotate the car off Turn 1-2 without snapping loose in the dogleg — prioritize slightly looser-than-ideal entry grip over mid-corner stability to protect right-side tyres across a long run.

TRACK GUIDE

  • Turn 1 entry is the biggest lap time opportunity — brake later than feels comfortable, trail brake deep to rotate the nose since Phoenix's low banking doesn't help you turn
  • The dogleg (Turn 3) requires a different line than 1-2 — carry less entry speed, get the car pointed early, and prioritize exit drive over apex speed
  • Traction off Turn 4 onto the front stretch is where the race is won — overdriving entry costs exponentially more than a slightly conservative apex
  • Manage right-side tyre temps every run — aggressive late-braking compounds wear fast here; back off entry aggression by 5-10% every 15-20 laps to preserve grip for the final stint
  • Track bar and wedge (ride height) adjustments during pit stops are critical — expect the car to tighten up as tyres wear, so plan a wedge/bar take-out across a long green-flag run
// Realer Rekord
No official record (NASCAR Xfinity Series qualifying record at Phoenix ~26.5–27.0s range varies by race/year, not a fixed single "record")
// Sim-Rekord
~27.100s — iRacing Xfinity Series, official race/hosted lap world record estimate, dry/optimal conditions
