KEY SETUP NOTE

• On a 20.8km lap with huge compression and crest sequences (Fuchsröhre, Flugplatz, Pflanzgarten), ride height and bump damping control matter more than outright aero — running too low or too soft invites bottoming at Pflanzgarten II and Schwedenkreuz crests at 260+ km/h, which costs far more time than any aero gain.

TRACK GUIDE

• Flugplatz: taken essentially flat in top gear — car goes light over the crest, stay committed, small inputs only.
• Fuchsröhre: full throttle downhill into a compression — expect the car to bottom out; don't lift, trust the setup.
• Adenauer Forst: tight double-apex right-left, brake in a straight line, rotate the car early on entry to maximize exit speed onto the next straight.
• Bergwerk: tightest hairpin on the lap — late, hard brake, get the car rotated before throttle to protect the long uphill run after.
• Karussell: use the banking, stay low on the inside line, let the camber do the steering work, modulate throttle to not overload the outside-rear.
• Pflanzgarten 1&2: big compressions and jump sections — commit fully, car will go light, keep inputs smooth to avoid unsettling it mid-air.
• Döttinger Höhe: the lap is won here on exit speed from the final corners before it — carry every km/h possible onto this straight, it's the biggest time gain on the lap.
