KEY SETUP NOTE

• The 296 GT3's front-heavy weight bias combined with Monza's low-downforce requirement makes chicane rotation (T1/2 and T4/5) the limiting factor — slightly softer front ARB and increased negative front camber are used here to generate entry rotation without sacrificing top speed, accepting more front tyre stress for a single banzai lap.

TRACK GUIDE

• Variante del Rettifilo (T1/2): Brake as late as possible from ~335 km/h, trail-brake deep to rotate the front, use full kerb on exit — the low-drag setup means braking distance is slightly longer, commit to the marker and trust front grip.
• Curva Grande (T3): Taken essentially flat or with a tiny lift — low rear wing means less rear stability here, smooth input critical, any snap costs massive time onto the straight.
• Variante della Roggia (T4/5): Second-heaviest braking zone — brake in a straight line first, then rotate; aggressive drivers can brush the inside kerb at the exit for a straighter line onto the next straight.
• Lesmo 1 & 2: Lesmo 1 rewards late apex and trail braking for rotation; Lesmo 2 is where understeer bites — get the car rotated early on
