  • The M2's weight transfer under braking into Cascades is the single biggest lap time and consistency factor — slightly stiffer front ARB and higher rear ride height than baseline are used here to keep the rear planted on the blind, downhill, off-camber entry; sacrificing a bit of Old Hall rotation is worth it for a car you can trust into Cascades lap after lap on worn tyres.

TRACK GUIDE

  • Cascades (T1): Commit early but don't overdrive entry — trail brake lightly to rotate, then unwind smoothly; rear stability here defines your whole lap, especially tyres past lap 10.
  • Shell Oils (T3): Late, straight-line braking into the hairpin; get the car rotated before you touch throttle — early power application here kills rear tyres fast.
  • Island (T5): Needs sharp front turn-in — use slightly aggressive trail braking to rotate, then get on power progressively for the short straight to Knickerbrook.
  • Knickerbrook (T7): Don't lift over the crest — stay committed, let the aero and suspension settle the car; any hesitation here costs time through the whole esses.
  • Druids/Old Hall/Fosters: Druids is pure traction management (early, progressive throttle); Old Hall rewards a confident high-speed line — carry min speed rather than max entry speed; Fosters sets up the straight, prioritize exit over apex speed.
  • Tyre/fuel management: save rears specifically for Shell Oils and Druids exits — these are where aggressive throttle application accelerates degradation most.
