KEY SETUP NOTE

• Vallelunga rewards a stable, low-drag aero setup more than outright downforce — the long front straight and fast Curva Grande punish excess rear wing, so trim rear wing down and compensate rotation with diff preload and front ARB stiffness rather than adding wing.

TRACK GUIDE

• Turn 1 (Grande curva): taken flat-ish in quali trim if committed — carry max speed, trail brake only lightly on entry, let the car run wide to the exit kerb.
• Chicane Bambini: late, hard brake in a straight line, rotate the car on entry with a small lift rather than mid-corner brake, get back to power early for the run to Piega.
• Piega (fast righthander): this is where lap time is won — commit flat or near-flat, trust the aero, any lift here costs more than a clean exit elsewhere.
• Esses (Serpentine): rhythm section, minimize steering corrections, prioritize a stable platform (don't overdrive entry) to carry speed through both direction changes.
• Final corner onto the straight: traction is king — get the car straight early even if it costs a fraction of apex speed, the long straight punishes any wheelspin on exit.
