TYRES

  • Semislick compound (fixed on GT4 spec). Front: 27.5 PSI cold, Rear: 27.0 PSI cold. Target hot: ~30–31 PSI front, 29–30 PSI rear. No tyre blankets — expect a cold out-lap; build temp gently into T1/T5 before pushing.

ELECTRONICS

  • TC: 4 (aggressive traction out of T6/T12, reduce to 3 if rear steps out mid-stint as tyres wear)
  • ABS: 5
  • Engine Braking: Medium (3/5 if adjustable) — stabilizes rear into T10A under heavy trail braking
  • Brake Bias: 56.5% front (base), move to 57.0% once fuel load drops below half-tank

SUSPENSION

  • // FRONT
  • Ride Height: 60 mm
  • Wheel Rate FL / FR: 95,000 / 95,000 N/m
  • ARB: 48,000 N/m
  • Brake Torque Multiplier: 100%
  • Brake Bias: 56.5%
  • // REAR
  • Ride Height: 62 mm
  • Wheel Rate RL / RR: 85,000 / 85,000 N/m
  • ARB: 38,000 N/m
  • Diff Preload: 60 Nm
  • Diff Coast: 0.5
  • Diff Power: 0.7

AERO

  • Front splitter: 2 (of available steps) — stabilize T10A braking without killing straight speed
  • Rear wing: 4 (of available steps) — enough rear planted feel through T5 Esses
  • Downforce level: Medium-low (GT4 Supra ceiling is modest; don't over-wing and lose back straight speed)
  • Brake ducts: N/A if not exposed — if available, set Front 2 / Rear 2

KEY SETUP NOTE

  • The Supra GT4's rear axle is soft relative to GT3 cars — through the T5 Esses an aggressive, committed line demands the rear ARB and rebound work together; if you find snap oversteer mid-Esses, soften rear ARB one step before adding rear wing, as excess rear roll stiffness here is usually the real culprit, not lack of downforce.

TRACK GUIDE

  • T1: Brake late but straight-line first, trail into the apex — the Supra's front end needs a stable platform before you ask for rotation; overslowing costs more than it looks here.
  • T2/T3 complex: Sacrifice min speed in T2 to set up a straighter line through T3 — exit speed out of T3 feeds the whole back section.
  • T5 Esses: Commit full throttle early and trust the rear — lifting mid-Esses unsettles the platform more than running a slightly wide line.
  • T6 into Back Straight: This is the biggest lap time gain — get on power as early as possible even if it means a wider exit, since back straight speed defines your T10A braking reference and overtaking chances.
  • T10A/10B chicane: Heaviest braking zone on track — brake in a straight line, release pressure progressively through the transition, don't ask for rotation and braking at the same time or the rear will snap.
  • T12: Traction out of this corner onto the front straight is your lap-time-defining moment — slightly earlier, gentler
