TYRES

  • Compound: Dry — C7 (ACC default dry compound)
  • Front Pressure (cold): 26.8 PSI
  • Rear Pressure (cold): 26.3 PSI
  • Tyre blanket temp: 70°C (standard ACC blanket setting)
  • Optimal operating window for max grip: 80–95°C (front and rear) — race stint target window to balance peak grip with degradation over distance; avoid sustained running above 100°C to control thermal deg.

ELECTRONICS

AERO

  • Front Splitter: 5
  • Rear Wing: 7
  • Brake Ducts Front: 4
  • Brake Ducts Rear: 3
  • Overall downforce philosophy: lean rear-biased high-speed stability for Esses and 130R, accept slight entry push compensated by diff coast and brake bias.

KEY SETUP NOTE

  • The Porsche's rear-engine inertia makes 130R and the Esses the defining test of this setup — running 7 clicks rear wing with a firmer rear ARB (7) and higher rear ride height (68mm) prevents snap oversteer on throttle-sensitive, high-speed direction changes, at the cost of slightly more drag on the straights. This trade is correct for race pace because losing the rear at 130R or mid-Esses costs far more time (and risk) than straight-line speed.

TRACK GUIDE

  • Esses (T3–T7): Commit early, minimal steering correction — trust the rear-biased aero balance; any lift unsettles the long weight transfer through this sequence and costs the entire complex, not just one corner.
  • 130R (T17/18): Treat as flat in race trim once tyres are in the 80–95°C window; if rears are cold/old, feather throttle only — never lift completely, as sudden lift at this speed with a rear-engine car risks snap rotation.
  • Hairpin (T14): This is your primary overtaking and traction zone — brake deep and straight-line the entry, prioritize a clean, early throttle application over apex speed since exit speed carries down the whole following straight.
  • Degner (T12/13): Partly blind — use the high coast-lock diff (0.7) to stabilize entry rotation; aggressive late braking here is riskier than at T1 due to limited visibility of the exit.
  • Tyre/fuel management: Manage rear tyre
