KEY SETUP NOTE
- With a solid rear axle and no diff, cross-weight (wedge via spring/ride-height asymmetry FL/FR/RL/RR stagger) is your only rotation tool — running slightly stiffer RF and softer LR biases the car to rotate off the tight Turn 1/3 hairpins without fighting the locked rear on exit.
TRACK GUIDE
- Langley is a tight, flat half-mile paperclip — both "ends" are tight 180° turns, so patience on entry and aggressive throttle application on exit define lap time
- Brake hard and late into Turn 1, trail off smoothly since the locked rear will snap loose if you lift or brake mid-corner
- Carry minimum speed through the apex of Turns 1-2 and 3-4, prioritize a clean rotation over outright entry speed — exit drive matters far more on a short track
- Traction off Turn 2 and Turn 4 is where the lap is won — get the car pointed early and feed throttle progressively to avoid axle hop from the solid rear
- Use full width of the track on both straights to maximize minimum entry speed; even small compromises in rotation cost multiple tenths over such a short lap
