AERO

  • Front splitter: lowest legal clearance (static 75mm LF to rail)
  • Rear spoiler: 70° (max qualifying angle, high downforce commit)
  • Downforce level: Max allowed by rules package
  • Brake ducts: N/A (oval package fixed cooling)

KEY SETUP NOTE

  • Run significant cross/wedge asymmetry — stagger the front and rear ride heights and spring rates hard (LF soft/low, RF stiff/high) to maximize left-side bite through Charlotte's high-speed banked corners; qualifying trim favors a looser-feeling car on entry that tightens mid-corner from aero load, letting you carry min speed 3-4 mph higher than a race setup.

TRACK GUIDE

  • Turns 1-2: Commit flat or near-flat on entry; the banking (24°) allows later brake release than drivers expect — trail off brake by the start of banking, not before.
  • Turns 3-4 (the tighter, higher-banked pair): This is where lap time is made — carry min speed as high as possible, use the full width of the track entering high and clipping the bottom at apex to maximize exit drive down the backstretch.
  • Traction zones: Throttle application off Turn 2 and Turn 4 must be progressive but early — short runs between corners (backstretch/frontstretch) punish any hesitation.
  • Qualifying line differs from race line: run higher entry, straighten the arc more aggressively since tyre wear/heat is irrelevant — sacrifice long-run grip for single-lap rotation.
  • Wind and banking transition at the tunnel turns (3-4) can unsettle the rear — be ready for a sudden snap if you're overly aggressive with throttle before the car is pointed.

THEORETICAL BEST LAP

  • 0:28.700 — based on optimized qualifying sector pace, dry track, low-drag quali trim, single-lap
