AERO

  • Front Splitter: 3 (of 5 clicks) — minimal drag bias
  • Rear Wing: 4 (of 10) — low-drag setting for 1.475km straight
  • Downforce Level: Low-Medium, prioritizing top speed
  • Brake Ducts F/R: 3 / 4 (moderate cooling, race-distance thermal management)

KEY SETUP NOTE

  • Fuji's enormous straight rewards minimum drag above all else — run the lowest rear wing angle you can control through 100R and the Dunlop corner complex without snap oversteer on exit throttle; the lap time gain from straight-line speed into T1 vastly outweighs mid-corner stability losses if the mechanical platform (diff, ARB, rear damper) is dialed to compensate.

TRACK GUIDE

  • T1 hairpin: brake extremely late but in a straight line — trail off ABS threshold progressively; any residual steering input while braking at 300km/h+ will snap the rear on this heavy weight transfer zone.
  • 100R: commit early with a stable throttle input; the rear ARB and damper settings above are tuned to prevent power oversteer mid-corner — trust the platform and carry speed rather than lifting.
  • Dunlop/13 corner complex: this is a rhythm section — sacrifice a tenth on entry speed to nail the correct line for a strong exit onto the back straight, since exit speed compounds through to the final sector.
  • T14 hairpin: this is the biggest traction zone on the lap — get the car rotated early on entry so you can unwind the wheel and apply full power
