KEY SETUP NOTE

• This car's mechanical platform is stiff enough to resist kerb unsettling at Tamburello and Variante Alta, but the low-18°C track temp in the reference lap means grip is marginal — keep pressures on the low end as logged and trust the front end slightly less on the opening lap until tyres are fully in their window; don't chase extra front camber for one lap, it costs more in traction at Tosa than it gains in rotation.

TRACK GUIDE

• Tamburello (T1): brake hard but straight-line before turn-in, use the kerb only with the outside tyres loaded — this car's suspension handles stepped kerbs well but punishes mid-corner kerb strikes with oversteer.
• Villeneuve (T3): carry entry speed over the bumps, trail-brake lightly rather than lifting fully — the Mercer V8's weight transfer rewards a smooth, continuous brake release here.
• Tosa (T5): the most important corner on track — sacrifice outright min-speed for a clean, early throttle application; this leads onto a long straight so traction trumps apex speed.
• Piratella (T8): brake in a straight line before the uphill right, car pitches forward hard under brakes — get all braking done early so you're back on power by the apex.
• Rivazza 1&2 (T16/17) into Traguardo (T18): exit speed from Rivazza 2 is worth more than the final chicane — sacrifice a tidy Traguardo line if it means carrying more speed onto the start/finish straight.
