KEY SETUP NOTE

• The Mercedes AMG GT3's long wheelbase gives huge high-speed stability through Flugplatz and Fuchsröhre, but on a single-lap attack you must lean on stiffer front ARB (8) and lower coast lock (0.3) to force rotation into the tight, technical sections (Castrol-S, Karussell) — this car wants to understeer on cold tyres for the first sector, so carry slightly more front camber/pressure bias and brake later than feels natural into T1.

TRACK GUIDE

• Nordschleife entry (Tiergarten/Hocheinfahrt): commit full throttle, trust the long wheelbase stability over crests — lift only fractionally at Flugplatz crest at max attack.
• Fuchsröhre: late, hard trail-brake entry; the compression demands stiff damping (already set) — don't lift mid-compression, let the car settle.
• Adenauer-Forst (double-apex): sacrifice first apex slightly for a strong rotation into second — diff coast setting (0.3) will help here.
• Karussell: commit to the banking, stay low on the inside line, use the banking to carry min speed higher than feels safe — exit traction is everything for the run to Hohe Acht.
• Döttinger Höhe (long straight before Antoniusbuche): this is where lap time is won — minimize front wing drag on entry, use full slipstream positioning if available, brake marker for T1 (Hohenrain) is very late with this car's strong front end under brakes.
