• Misano's combination of high-speed direction changes (Turn 8 Quercia, Turn 14-15 chicane) and the rear-engine GT3R's pendulum inertia means stiffer rear ARB (6) and elevated rear ride height (62mm) are essential to prevent snap oversteer on aggressive throttle application — sacrificing a little rotation for exit stability pays off over a full race stint as rear tyres degrade.

TRACK GUIDE

• Turn 1 (Variante del Parco): Late braking rewards trail-braking into the apex, but respect the high coast diff lock (0.65) to avoid entry instability — brake in a straight line as late as possible, then release smoothly.
• Turn 8 (Quercia): Flat-in-high-gear for quick drivers — commit early, use full kerb on exit but keep steering inputs smooth since rear ride height is tuned tight; aggressive kerb riding here can unsettle the rear over a stint.
• Turn 11-12 (Misano/Tramonto): Traction zone is critical — modulate throttle out of Tramonto as TC1=5 helps but won't save overly aggressive throttle application on cold/worn rears mid-stint.
• Turn 14-15 chicane: This is where lap time is won — late, aggressive turn-in with trail braking, sacrifice minimum apex speed for a straight exit onto the front straight; a clean exit here is worth more than the entry speed.
• Tyre management: Misano's abrasive surface combined with aggressive styling will spike rear temps — manage mid-stint by slightly easing throttle aggression in Turns 11 and 16 to preserve rear grip for the final stint push.
