KEY SETUP NOTE

• Mugello rewards a high-downforce, high-rake setup — the lap is won in Correntaio and Arrabiata 1/2 where the car is flat-out and committed; sacrifice a few km/h of straight-line speed for the confidence to carry full throttle through these corners, since a single lift there costs far more than the straight-line deficit.

TRACK GUIDE

• San Donato (T1): brake as late as possible in a straight line, trail-brake to rotate the nose, get on power early for the long run to T2/3 — biggest traction zone on the lap.
• Luco/Poggio Secco (T2/3): committed, minimal steering correction — trust the rear ARB/damper setup; any mid-corner oversteer here is catastrophic at this speed.
• Correntaio (T7): near-flat in top gear — this is the defining corner of the lap; the setup's high-speed stability (wing, rake, rear damper) is tested here. Stay full throttle if the car feels planted.
• Arrabiata 1 & 2 (T10/11): back-to-back high-load rights — smooth, progressive inputs, use full width of track on exit to carry minimum speed loss into the second apex.
• Scarperia (T12) and Bucine (T15): both are tight traction zones feeding straights — prioritize clean exit over apex speed, as time is made on the following straight, not the corner itself.
