KEY SETUP NOTE

• Kyalami's high-altitude, high-speed sweeps (Jukskei, Crocodile Kink) demand a rear-biased aero/mechanical balance to prevent snap oversteer at 280+ km/h — don't be tempted to strip rear wing for straight-line speed; the lap is won by carrying speed through Jukskei flat, not by a marginal straight-line gain.

TRACK GUIDE

• T1 Sausage Kink: brake hard from top speed but stay committed — the kink loads the car mid-braking, trail brake lightly to rotate without unsettling the rear.
• Jukskei Sweep (T7): flat-out or near-flat commitment is essential — any mid-corner lift unloads the rear wing's effectiveness; get your rear ARB/damper balance right to keep the car planted here, this is where lap time is made.
• Sunset/Rietvlei hairpin (T11): sacrifice entry speed for a clean, early throttle application — this feeds the long run to the back straight, traction out of here is worth more than the corner itself.
• Barbecue/Cheetah chicane (T14): prioritize braking stability on the elevation change — trail brake smoothly, avoid lockups that F1-spec non-ABS brakes will punish severely.
• Final hairpin onto Pit Straight: get the car rotated early and prioritize traction over apex speed — this is the longest full-throttle zone on the lap.
